Beaver Meadows is located at (40.928438, -75.912787).

Beaver Meadows is located 4 miles west of Weatherly and 3 miles southeast of
Hazleton. Beaver Meadow's elevation is 1237 feet above sea level

census of 2000, there were 968 people, 404 households, and 258 families residing in the borough. The
population density was 3,746.4 people per square mile (1,437.5/km²). There were 458 housing units at an average density of 1,772.6/sq mi (680.1/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 99.38%

Asian, 0.21% from
other races, and 0.10% from two or more races.

Latino of any race were 1.24% of the population.
There were 404 households out of which 24.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.0% were
married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.1% were non-families. 33.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 3.04.
In the borough the population was spread out with 22.3% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 20.0% from 45 to 64, and 22.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 100.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.7 males.
The median income for a household in the borough was $31,058, and the median income for a family was $42,500. Males had a median income of $30,000 versus $20,417 for females. The
per capita income for the borough was $17,296. About 4.4% of families and 7.6% of the population were below the
poverty line, including 6.0% of those under age 18 and 15.6% of those age 65 or over.
